July 2017 Message

Dear ones,
We have two corners exist in everyone’s life.
FIRST inside corner. (corner where I sit in side) where I think about my comfort and concern. NEXT out side corner(what we see and walk around)
Where I have concern and commitment for others.
This two corners controls my prayer life…
If I’m INSIDE PERSON I’ll pray selfish and COMFORT PRAYER…
If I’m OUTSIDE PERSON I’ll pray for others and it will be COMMITTED PRAYER…. Which kind of prayer were do… Comfortable prayer or like Nehemiah we will pray commitment prayer which CHANGE AROUND US.

HOW CAN I RESIST TEMPTATION

1 Peter 2:9. Isa 36:11-20.
King Hezekiah says: The Lord will surely deliver us, this city will not be given into the hands of the people Assyria.

Verses 16,17 like Satan the Syrian commander says “make peace and I will take you to land like your own”
1. Convincing his words bring doubt about God’s power to save. Verses 13&14
2. They tempt Hezekiah to take the easy way out. Verse 17
3. False promises are use to make exile sound good.

REMEMBER Satan is a liar…. John 8:34
REFUSE to hear what he has to say…..

REMIND yourself of your protection(Eph 6:13-15)…
YOU ARE GOD’S CHILD & YOU BELONG TO GOD.

God bless you.

Message-2 for March 2014

“And there came a leper to him, beseeching him, and kneeling down to him, and saying unto him, If you will, you can make me clean.” Mark 1:40

The scene is that of a leper who is desperate and desired to be healed. Jesus was also equally willing to heal him completely. The leper here told Jesus that if it was His will, to make him clean.

If we are the kind of people who are praying with selfish motives and wrong desires, it is time we change our pattern of prayer. We need to learn to pray for God’s will over our lives. Such kind of prayer will move God to act in our lives. Keep selfishness and greed far away from your life and submit to God’s perfect will and pray for His will to happen in your life no matter what. God is pleased with that kind of prayer and whatever is acceptable and approving to Him will be permitted and fulfilled in our lives. Jesus was touched with the humility and submission of the leper to God’s will over his life that He touched him who was actually an untouchable and made him whole.

God is willing to touch the area of your life which has been long untouched if you allow access to God in that area. Let us be humble and ask for God’s will over our lives whether we like it or no. God’s plans are just perfect for us. Mary, the mother of Jesus, submitted her life totally in the hands of God and allowed God to intervene in her life and for God’s will to be done in her life and to use her womb for the birth of the Messiah. God wants that willingness and submission for His will over our lives today. Let us be submissive to God’s ways.

“The Gentiles shall come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your rising.” (Isaiah 60:3)

People always see your outward appearance, your outfit you wear, the hair style you have, the perfume you use etc. but

When God changes your life and starts to dwell in you, then He makes a change in us, people will notice something different about you. The inward change will be seen outside.  In other words, if they notice something different in you, it is because they see the evidence of God’s glory on your life.

People around you may have told you that you stand out from the rest, indeed this is because of Christ Jesus in you. You may be like Joseph, a slave left alone and forgotten in a jail. Yet, the king at that time required Joseph to have him interpret his dreams. In other words, God will give to you wisdom and answers that the people of the world do not have.

No matter what background you come from, maybe you do not have the ability and wisdom to do anything but it doesn’t matter, because God looks at your heart and not at your education or wealth. The changed life style will pull kings towards you.

You were made wonderfully and created for a purpose.

Easter is a great time to celebrate the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ.   But, there are certain facts which we need to think about.

Easter should not be thought as a time of celebration alone,   as the real meaning of celebrating Easter, is to spread hope, joy and glad tidings, to the hopeless, needy and suffering.  Easter does not end up at Church and celebration alone.  We need to think how to get the good news to all and try to do celebrate this Easter differently.     A few of the suggestions are given below.

1)      Celebrate in Hospital :
Jesus Christ gave encouragement to Mary, after He resurrected.   On the eve of Easter,  let us visit Hospitals and try to encourage them and give them the hope that healing is from His stripes, as it is said in Isaiah 53:5.   The sufferers can receive a new hope and way to look at their future.

2)      Celebrate with the homeless :
Christ came to the world, from the bosom of His father and was born in a manger, as the world had no space to accommodate him.   Easter is a time where we can go as teams, to visit the street-dwellers and show the love of God by presenting them with food, dress or other goodies, as deeds with faith is important.

3)      Visit to Jails :
Christ came to liberate the human mankind from captivity and give them a blessed hope.   We can organise a visit to the jails and juvenile homes,  by taking prior permission from the concerned authorities and visit the inmates.   We can spend time with them and share the good news of God’s forgiveness and assurance to get rid of the guilt feelings, which actually kills such persons.

4)      Visit to Orphanages / Old-age Homes :
Jesus, even when he was nearing the days of crucification and on His way to Jerusalem, showed concern for the people, where he reached out to the blind Bartimaeus to heal him and give a new future.    During the time of Easter, we can visit orphanages and old-age homes and share the love of God by skits, songs etc. And make them to look at life in a new perspective.

5)      Roadshows :
To reach the community, roadshows can be organised.   A group of people can be organised to go on cycling or walks around the city, with T-shirt messages / placards etc. ( eg. “Jesus is alive – so you can live”, “Jesus is risen to rise you up “, “Because He lives, I can face tomorrow” etc.) to share the good news of God’s salvation.

6)      Reaching out to your neighbours :
The key teaching of Christ is that we have to love our neighbour as our own-self.   This can be practised literally by calling people in our neighbourhood, for a lunch or dinner and share the love of Jesus, by sharing on what He did at the Cross.   Showing a video, filmshow (like “Passion of Christ”, “Jesus of Nazareth” etc. ) or sharing your testimonies or calling somebody known to you to witness for God,  could help you in sharing the love of God.   If you have a celebrity-status person or person of influence who is in Christ, in your area,  he or she can be invited to share about what God has done to them.

On the whole, we have to explore various opportunities, to share the love of Jesus Christ and what He has done for us.   Easter is just another great opportunity for the same.   We feel instead of celebrating Easter in a religious manner, it can be done in a useful manner, which will please God more than anything else.

God bless you!

How does God look at Benjamin and bless him

How does God look at Benjamin and bless him?

God wants to bless Benjamin:
God wants to bless Benjamin by shielding him all day long. He says “ I will dwell in the boundaries”. If God dwells in our boundaries, who can be against us? We can have many enemies but God protects us. Ask the Lord to dwell in the boundaries of your marriage, work place, children’s school or colleges and in your house and receive His protection.

2. Benjamin pleased God:
Why did God choose to dwell in the boundaries of Benjamin ? Because he was pleasing to God, we please God when we obey Him and do His will. When Jesus was baptized by John in the river of Jordan, God the Father said “ this is my Son, whom I love, with Him, I am well pleased”. Our Lord Jesus chose to do His father’s will in the garden of Gethsemane (Matt 26: 39) Every morning as you start your day ask the Lord to do His will in your life. Choose His will daily not just for significant events in your life like education, life partner and business. Doing His will is a daily process. We are safest when we are in the center of God’s will.

3.Stay with God:
We have to remain with God always. If we look into the frequently quoted saying of Jesus in John 15:5 “ Remain in me and I will remain in you” and in Romans 8: 35 to 39, we see nothing seperates us from the love of God. We need to feel His presence always, you will not yield to unnecessary temptations like Jacob.

So to summarise Benjamin’s blessing: God’s dwelling in our boundaries and being our Protection comes only when we please God, obey and do his Will.

Worthless in the sight of men But worth full in Gods sight

Worthless in the sight of men But worth full in Gods sight.
Duet 33: 12

This is the blessing that Moses the man of God pronounced on the Israelites before his death.
For Benjamin he said, “Let the beloved of the Lord rest secure for he shields him all day long and the one the Lord loves rests between his shoulders”. Who is Benjamin? Let’s look into Gen 30: 22 to 24. Benjamin was expected by his mother long before his birth! His mother Rachel gave birth to Joseph after a long period of jealousy, hurt, anger, pain and prayers. Rachel desired one more son. “May the Lord add to me another son” (v.24) little did she know that the expected son would be the reason for her death.

In Gen 35: 16 to 18, the Bible tells us that Rachel was pregnant for the second time during the difficult time of travelling. She also had a great difficulty in child birth and the mid wife comforted her saying , “ don’t be afraid for you have another son”. Rachel’s wish was fulfilled but she could not enjoy the presence of the newborn for she was dying. In her last breath she named him, “Ben-oni meaning son of my trouble”. But Jacob immediately named him “Benjamin- son of my right hand”

So the motherless child has a new name and why was he named like that? Perhaps his old father would have placed his right hand on his new son’s shoulder to lean and walk?! So what does God tell Benjamin and his tribe? The last of Jacob’s sons is not the least in God’s sight. The same applies to you and me, no one is little, small and worthless in the sight of God. Though Benjamin had a sad past, how does God look at him and bless him?

Move forward and Be A Victor

The Israelites came out of captivity after suffering God delivered them and promised a land flowing with milk and honey. God chose a leader Moses, to lead them. Everything was going smooth till they faced the Red Sea. Behind them was the Pharoah’s army pursuing them and before them stood the Red Sea. They were not able to get the blessings, problems followed them. They grumble to Moses. Moses asks the Lord who tells him, “ Why are you crying out to me? Tell the Israelites to move on” Exo 14: 15.

Do you keep thinking and talking about the problem? God is telling us to stop thinking and go forward.

When we see the story of David and Goliath, we see that David faced the giant, he did not run away. He spoke to him face to face, and challenged him for a fight. Though Goliath laughed at the little boy, he was floored to death by a single stone.

So lets see the steps that helps us to move forward.

  1. Face the enemy – don’t run!
  2. Talk to the problem and see it as the One who is in you sees it
  3. The problem wont come again
  4. The problem will become a testimony for you! God can turn a mess into a message and a test into testimony.

How to face challenges in life and conquer them

Lets look into our Bible. Deut 31: 6,7

“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you”. Then Moses summoned Joshua and said to him in the presence of all Israel. “ Be strong and courageous, for you must go with this people into the land that the Lord swore to their forefathers to give them as their inheritance”.

We can draw up life lessons from this very small passage from God’s word.

1. Presence: Abide in the presence of God. The presence of the Lord is with you always. Have you seen the sunflower? Have you ever wondered why the flower got its name? The flowers always look up to the direction of the Sun and draw its life’s strength through the rays.

In the same way when we abide in the presence of the Lord, we draw the strength from Him. God also reveals unseen enemies by opening our eyes. In 2 Kings 6 (8- 20) we see the King of Aram was at the war with Israel. In verses 16 and 17, the prophet Elisha who goes to encourage the army tells his servant that “ those who are with us are more than those who are with them” . The Lord with you is greater than anything in this world.

2. Powerful: Our power comes from God. So be strong and of good courage. Zechariah 4: 6,7 says “ Not by might nor by power but by my spirit” says the Lord Almighty. The disciples of Jesus were promised in Acts 1: 8, that they would receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on them. Further in 2Tim 1:7, God has given us a spirit of power.

3. Purpose: if we have the above two, then it is very easy to fulfil to purpose of God. God has promised that He would give the nations at our feet, if we fulfil the purpose of God.

Promise Message for this year 2012

Nothing is impossible when you put your trust in God.

Nothing is impossible when you’re trusting in His Word.

Hear to the voice of God to thee; ‘Is there anything too hard for Me?’

Then put your trust in God alone and rest upon His Word:

For ev’rything, O, ev’rything, yes ev’rything is possible with God.”

Eugene Clark wrote the lyrics of a wonderful gospel song after reading Jesus’ words recorded in Matthew 19:26: “WITH MAN THIS IS IMPOSSIBLE, BUT WITH GOD ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE!”

It was Job who cried out: “I know that God can do all things…!” (Job 42:2).

And Jesus who said: “You have so little faith…if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there’ and it will move. NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE WITH GOD!” (Matthew 17:20,21)

Is there something you are facing that makes you wonder if God is able to handle it? Do you believe God can do anything?  Do you believe that God can move those mountains that are such obstacles in your lives.  Scripture tells us there is nothing too hard for God. Our God specializes in making the impossible become possible…working miracles in our lives!

Sarah laughed at the idea of having a son when she was ninety years old. God, however, promised it. The words of God to Abraham are both against doubt and a call to faith. “Is anything too hard for the Lord?” (Gen. 18:14).

Mary, the Lord’s mother, was encouraged to accept her sublime responsibilities as the mother of God’s Son by the angel’s words: “With God nothing shall be impossible” (Luke 1: 37).

Looking at difficulties from God’s point of view the humanly impossible becomes not only possible but is actually accomplished as part of God’s purpose. When we read “all things are possible with God” our minds usually  wander  to miracles and glorious happenings. Yet Jesus does not use it in that way alone, but primarily, points to the salvation of a person who trusts in their own abilities, wealth and possessions rather than in God. The Lord is not saying that he will save such a one but that he will do whatever is necessary to bring them to a place where they are able to see God for who He is.

Regardless of how you read this passage, it is obvious that Jesus is teaching us that things that seem impossible to us are possible with God.

God is able to save you completely and forever. No matter how messed up you are, or how far you’ve fallen into sin, God is able to save you completely (and forever) if you will surrender to Him with all your heart. It’s then that salvation, deliverance and complete wholeness comes into your life. On the authority of God’s Word, God is still in the act of saving, delivering, healing, providing and blessing. It is a hopeful message for those of us who pray for our family members and friends to come to the Lord and experience the abundant life.

So, call out to him today. If you will cling to and hold onto Him, He will sustain you and keep you from stumbling. There is nothing that God cannot do. There are limitless possibilities for those willing to put their faith and trust in God. He is faithful to restore everything that you lost and offer all that you longed for. He wants to give you a new heart and a new beginning. Claim His promise and reach out to others with the wonderful message of God’s love in Christ and proclaim that God turns impossibilities into wonderful possibilities. As we enter this New year 2012, let us march forward with faith on the Living God that “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” (Phil. 4:13) clinging on to his promise “WITH GOD all things are possible !”
