Can I………. How

Not good-looking? No good at singing? Can’t play an instrument? No good at studies? An absolute good for nothing?

Haven’t all of us, at some juncture in our lives felt the same way! We might feel that we are insignificant – without a good personality, talents qualification etc. But our God is a great God who can accomplish significant things through insignificant people. The evidence for this is found throughout the Bible. We see it in the life of Noah, Moses, David and Nehemiah. Even an ordinary fisherman like Peter became a fisher of men. How can an ordinary person perform extraordinary things? A study of the life of Nehemiah will help us understand the mystery behind it.

In Nehemiah Chapter 1, verses 1-4, we learn that Nehemiah understood how the Lord felt when the walls of His beloved city Jerusalem were broken down, the gates were burnt and destroyed and the city lost its protection. Nehemiah’s heart was moved with compassion. His heart was broken. In other words, he had the same concern as that of God. Nehemiah was filled with zeal to achieve great things for God and he had the heart of God which helped him to achieve great things.

Do we have the concern of God?. How to imbibe that concern of God in our lives?

1. Knowing God personally: We should have a personal encounter with God. We should have the heavenly vision of God like the prophet Isaiah.

2. Know people thoroughly: To know people, we should learn to listen to what others say. Many achievers start with their mouth (talking). But Nehemiah started with his ears (hearing). Everyday we hear of so many incidences in this world like suicide, murder, drug abuse, broken families, immorality, AIDS etc. Do we have the burden?

If you want to be an accomplisher, you should have the heart and concern of God.

“BURDENED GOD IS SEARCHING FOR A BURDENED BELIEVER TO REACH THE BURDENED PEOPLE”

Happy November…. God bless you….. Promise for this month

IT IS NOT LETTING DOWN, BUT IT ONLY LIFTING HIGH
psa 66:12 you let men ride over our heads; we went through fire and water, but you brought us to a place of abundance.
Difficult situations admitted by God, not to destroy us but to take us the destiny of abundance.
Difficult situations may be very humiliating, you may feel you are sinking, you may feel the firey flame may destroy …. But don’t forget it is only the process towards destiny of abundance

WORD OF GOD CHANGES YOUR WORLD AHEAD

The scripture teaches us that we shouldn’t follow the pattern of the world. Rom12:1&2.

What is the pattern of the world? …. It’s the constant struggle to do more, be more and have more that only leads to Tried, emptiness and frustration. That’s not what God intends for us! Instead, focus your thoughts on the Word of God because when you make the Word of God your number one focus, your mind will be renewed for successes.
Only you can control the doorway to your mind. Nobody can do this for you. You choose what you meditate… I encourage you to be diligently guard your mind and heart with scripture…. because when you do things  way, you get God’s blessing—life, peace and joy.

HOW CAN I RESIST TEMPTATION

1 Peter 2:9. Isa 36:11-20.
King Hezekiah says: The Lord will surely deliver us, this city will not be given into the hands of the people Assyria.

Verses 16,17 like Satan the Syrian commander says “make peace and I will take you to land like your own”
1. Convincing his words bring doubt about God’s power to save. Verses 13&14
2. They tempt Hezekiah to take the easy way out. Verse 17
3. False promises are use to make exile sound good.

REMEMBER Satan is a liar…. John 8:34
REFUSE to hear what he has to say…..

REMIND yourself of your protection(Eph 6:13-15)…
YOU ARE GOD’S CHILD & YOU BELONG TO GOD.

God bless you.

INSECURITY

Insecurity takes away the joy of life in relationships..

Those who are insecure,
often seek the approval & acceptance of others to
overcome feelings of rejection & low self-esteem..

When we struggle with insecurity,
only one thing sets us free … in

That’s God’s truth :

• I am loved by God
• I am accepted & approved by God.
• I am secured,
• I am worthy & valuable ..

‎You know all this so that you may have peace in me…”(John 16:33)

Be Accepted ….Be Happy!
