We successfully completed music classes at YFT Office Coimbatore on Apr 22 To May 5th 2013. Keyboard Classes and Guitar classes were taken for 20 students.

March 2013 YFT Updates

Dearly beloved Partners and Friends,

By His amazing grace we have entered into  April 2013. We would like to share few things about the good work that the Lord is doing in our ministry

On 3rd March we had our first Sunday YFT student get-together, more than 20 participated and were strong teamed by the lord.

On 8th, 9th, 10th of March we had a opening at CSI St.Pauls Church Tirupur. We had 3 days convention it was amazing more than 300 participated daily mornings committed their life to the lord and for the great commission. Sunday morning service more than 2000 congregation Participated the lord comforted, changed, challenged them through the message and choreography, and more than 150 youth participated in the youth meeting followed by the service.   Praise God for Rey. Vijayam and the committee, headed by secretary Mr.Jebaruban. Praise God for the Rev. John Samuel for his commitment and arrangements he made.

 

On 15, 16, 17th of March we had 3 days Special Convention at Methodist church Sundrapuram where more than 150 participated daily. On Sunday morning the lord broke and blessed those who came for Worship Service.  We praise God for the Rev. Jeremiah for his hospitality

On 21st morning God gave me an opportunity to preach the Word at CSI Immanuel Church Avinashi Road Coimbatore, More than 100 participated and challenged by the Lord to be fruit full.

On 27th of March god gave opportunity to preach at CSI Christ Church Trichy Road Coimbatore, More than 100 participated and the Lord Cautioned with concern about the Judgment and many committed this life to the Lord.

Praise God on the Good Friday Service our staffs and myself to preach about the Lord’s saying on the crown.

We had awesome special outreach on Easter Sunday to Namakkal. We had open Air meeting where more than 150 village people participated and committed their lives to the Lord with team.

Praise God for the CSI Institution especially for the community college where they train the students in different stills according to their ability. Which is headed by Mrs. Queenie, We had a special meeting for the students around 35 students participated most of them from different faith, it was wonderful most of them committed their life to the lord.

The lord is good to our staffs and their families. God blessed all their efforts in their campus ministry and church meetings.  God met all our needs and gave good health.

Loving Greetings in the most Precious Name of the Lord Jesus Christ !  By His amazing grace we have entered into the March 2013. We would like to share few things about the good work that the Lord is doing in our ministry during the month of Feb 2013.

 

1. On 3rd February 2013 1st Sunday Meet at YFT Office Coimbatore

 

2. 13th Feb we had a special program at Appasamy College Coimbatore for 150 students. All of them are dedicated their life to the Lord and went along with Jesus. The message subject was “Come Alone And Go Along … to Jesus.

 

3. 15,16,17 – CSI Abishekanathar church – Chithambara nagar, Tuticorin.  We welcomed by Rev. Jason for 3 days Gospel Meetings. Daily around 75 people came and blessed.

 

4. 22, 23 and 24th CSI Christ Church, Annur. There Rev. Charles accepted and welcomed us for 3 days meetings, Daily around 200 people participated and really blessed. Also on 23th we had separate session for youth retreat. Around 150 youths participated and
more than 80 youth made commitment to the Lord.

 

5. Youth fellowships in all the churches were blessing to many youth.

1. Discipleship Camp – 2013 Jan 12,13,14 at Royal College of Nursing Coimbatore .

 

Participants: 18 College Students

Commitment : Deep Commitment to be fruitful Disciples for the Lord Jesus Christ.

Highlights: During Santhiya Time  – Amazing to see the commitment in tears.

 

 

2. Young Family Fellowship Retreat on 26th January 2013 YFT Office Coimbatore

 

Participants: 11 Families

 

Events: Two  Messages

1. Little Foxes which disturb the togetherness in family.

2. Up Bringing children based on teachings of Christ.

 

Highlights: Everyone were blessed and we were encouraged to hear good Testimonies.

20th year Anniversary

What we did for God – September October 2012

Dearly beloved in Christ,

Praise the Lord, Last 2 months God used us for his purpose wonderfully.
We thank God and I would like to share with you some important things.

During the month of September we had a teaching professionals get together at our new office. Nearly 15 professors & Teachers are participated. Prof.T.V. Christy from Karunya University Coimbatore,  shared the word of God and Prof.Jemima shared her testimony which was very impressive and useful. God use us with teachers and professors community to help the school and College students. Thank God. We plan to organize this teaching professionals get together at our Coimbatore office every two months once.

19th September 2012 – We had Mega one day retreat for youth at CSI Immanuel Church, Avanishi Road. Coimbatore with the theme of ” With God You Can”. Nearly 300 students are participated

14th October 2012 – At Tirupur we shared God’s word with around 80 students.
Their itself we are having a core team to perform Music and Choreography skits.

23rd & 24th October 2012 – Discipleship camp at YFT Office.
The core value of discipleship – Disipline of Prayer and Bible Studies.
Nearly 15 members are trainned with bible medidation and went with committment.
Pray for their commitments.

Every month we are conducting church youth fellowship at cheran managar,
Sirumugai, Gobi Chettipalayam CSI Church, Erode & Kankeyam CSI Churches.
Lot of church youths are participated and received the blessing of God.

We have a plan to conduct music and spoken english classes at YFT office Coimbatore.

How does God look at Benjamin and bless him?

God wants to bless Benjamin:
God wants to bless Benjamin by shielding him all day long. He says “ I will dwell in the boundaries”. If God dwells in our boundaries, who can be against us? We can have many enemies but God protects us. Ask the Lord to dwell in the boundaries of your marriage, work place, children’s school or colleges and in your house and receive His protection.

2. Benjamin pleased God:
Why did God choose to dwell in the boundaries of Benjamin ? Because he was pleasing to God, we please God when we obey Him and do His will. When Jesus was baptized by John in the river of Jordan, God the Father said “ this is my Son, whom I love, with Him, I am well pleased”. Our Lord Jesus chose to do His father’s will in the garden of Gethsemane (Matt 26: 39) Every morning as you start your day ask the Lord to do His will in your life. Choose His will daily not just for significant events in your life like education, life partner and business. Doing His will is a daily process. We are safest when we are in the center of God’s will.

3.Stay with God:
We have to remain with God always. If we look into the frequently quoted saying of Jesus in John 15:5 “ Remain in me and I will remain in you” and in Romans 8: 35 to 39, we see nothing seperates us from the love of God. We need to feel His presence always, you will not yield to unnecessary temptations like Jacob.

So to summarise Benjamin’s blessing: God’s dwelling in our boundaries and being our Protection comes only when we please God, obey and do his Will.

Worthless in the sight of men But worth full in Gods sight.
Duet 33: 12

This is the blessing that Moses the man of God pronounced on the Israelites before his death.
For Benjamin he said, “Let the beloved of the Lord rest secure for he shields him all day long and the one the Lord loves rests between his shoulders”. Who is Benjamin? Let’s look into Gen 30: 22 to 24. Benjamin was expected by his mother long before his birth! His mother Rachel gave birth to Joseph after a long period of jealousy, hurt, anger, pain and prayers. Rachel desired one more son. “May the Lord add to me another son” (v.24) little did she know that the expected son would be the reason for her death.

In Gen 35: 16 to 18, the Bible tells us that Rachel was pregnant for the second time during the difficult time of travelling. She also had a great difficulty in child birth and the mid wife comforted her saying , “ don’t be afraid for you have another son”. Rachel’s wish was fulfilled but she could not enjoy the presence of the newborn for she was dying. In her last breath she named him, “Ben-oni meaning son of my trouble”. But Jacob immediately named him “Benjamin- son of my right hand”

So the motherless child has a new name and why was he named like that? Perhaps his old father would have placed his right hand on his new son’s shoulder to lean and walk?! So what does God tell Benjamin and his tribe? The last of Jacob’s sons is not the least in God’s sight. The same applies to you and me, no one is little, small and worthless in the sight of God. Though Benjamin had a sad past, how does God look at him and bless him?

Encounter 2012 Review

Events

God blessed our annual camp Encounter 2012, conducted during July 13th to 15th 2012. We praise God for the wonderful things He did in the camp.

On the whole 300 youth participated, out of that 70% of them were non Christians and new comers, and around 140 committed their lives to Christ. The three days were wonderful and God fulfilled His plans.

Initially we had difficult times in organizing the entire camp, with many obstacles, but God led us in perfect control and blessed it. Such an event could not have happened, without your prayers and sacrificial giving.  We firmly appreciate your commitment and involvement in this camp. May God bless you for your participation i n touching and changing young lives. Continue to pray for the follow up work.

At YFT we are regularly pray for you and your family. We pray that God be with you, strengthen you, and lead you. He who called you is faithful and will ensure you are successful.
