Growth of YFT (Stages and Landmarks)

YFT is progressing in leaps and bounds, by the grace of God, to fulfil the MissionVision placed by God.

As the verse, in Job 8:7 “ Though your beginning was small,Yet your latter end would increase abundantly” goes,

When YFT was started in Oct 1992, the first Youth camp was conducted on 17 Oct 1992 which had an attendance of 11 people. The Training Programme in thesame year had an attendance of 8.

From there, there was no stopping of the progress. Many Camps in small range were conducted and The Lord did mighty things.

Initially, every second Saturday, we had youth meetings which was followed by starting of One-Day retreats which were initially conducted at once in four months frequency.

In 1996, a major programme was conducted at Karunya Institute of Technology. This was on the theme ‘ I am His Workmanship ‘ and had an attendance of 70 youth. This proved to be the base of starting of an Annual youth camp on a major scale which was christened as ‘ Encounter ‘ in 2000 and is being conducted in the second weekend of July every year.

The Lord has indeed touched many lives and transformed their living.

One of the major landmark Meeting of YFT was on November 2, 2002 when a one-day retreat was conducted which marked the 10th Anniversary of YFT. Noted Evangelist,  Bro.Mohan C Lazarus shared The Word of God and it was a great blessing to many.  The retreat had an attendance of 3200 youth.

YFT is blessed by The Lord in carrying His light and the growth has been consistently  on the increase and we expect to produce greater results for His glory.
